•    At least 80% of your team who will be participating in the Immersion ll must have completed Immersion l.  We do have an Immersion l Small Group curriculum for those on your team who were not able to attend the Immersion l but who will be attending the Immersion ll. Please contact us for details.

•    All participants must be in agreement with the following basic statement of faith

1.    We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative and inerrant Word of God. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
2.    We believe that there is One God, eternally revealed to the world in the Father, the Son – Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  All things were created by Him and for Him.
3.    We believe that God sent His Son – Jesus Christ, to redeem all of mankind.  Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life on this earth, was crucified for our sins, buried and was raised from the dead on the third day.  We believe that Jesus is God.  Through Jesus Christ and by Him only can mankind be saved. Jesus Christ sits at the Right Hand of the Father and will return someday to receive His Church unto Himself.
4.    We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin, revelation of God’s Word and spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.  As Christians we seek to live under His direction and control daily.
5.    We are all sinners and have fallen short of the Glory of God and will perish without the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as revealed in His Gospel.  Only by trusting in Jesus Christ and God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty – death.
6.    Salvation can only be received through personal faith in Jesus Christ.  Faith is the essential human response to Christ and baptism is the ceremonial means given by God for expressing and sealing it.
7.   We believe that every Christian should be baptized in water by immersion as Christ modeled, as the Bible commands, and as the early church demonstrated.  In the early church, the normative way for expressing one’s repentance and personal decision to place faith in Jesus Christ (confession of faith) was through baptism.
8.     We believe that the church should be elder-governed and that God has ordained that only scripturally qualified heterosexual  men will be appointed to serve the congregation in the role of Elder and/or Senior Pastor.
9.     We believe we are called individually and corporately to reach the world for Jesus one person at a time and to make biblical disciples in relational environments.  This is lived out by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, baptizing those who respond, and journeying with them in authentic relationship to develop disciples who can make disciples.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?:

Come with a good attitude, an open mind, and be ready to work hard.  We’ll provide everything else.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?:

Wear casual, comfortable clothes.  By casual, we really mean casual: Jeans, shorts, t-shirts, etc.  If you wear a suit and tie you’ll probably wish you hadn’t.  (We reserve the right to cut off all ties.)

North Idaho has a variety of weather conditions in every season.  Check the local weather forecast a few days before you travel.  Sometimes the rooms can be chilly – bringing a light jacket or sweatshirt is always a good idea.

HOW DO I GET THERE AND WHERE DO I STAY?:

IS IT WORTH THE TRIP?:

The time our leadership Team spent at Real Life Ministries for the Immersion I conference was excellent to start getting everyone “on board.”  However, Immersion II is a must for implementation.  The first conference set up the second very well.  I strongly recommend going to Immersion at Real Life Ministries.  The whole staff that lead us through both seminars really cared about us, our local church and that we would implement what we learned in a way it related to Countryside Christian Church.
