Dave and Janelle Campbell, Mexico Missionaries

Background: Dave and Janelle minister in the Tecate, Mexico area. Over the past ten years they have helped connect thousands of short-term missionaries with thousands of enthusiastic Mexico believers to help grow disciples for Jesus Christ. Dave and Janelle head a Post Falls based ministry, True Light Ministries, which partners with believers in the U.S. and Canada for two purposes: 1) To come alongside believers in Mexico and help them make disciples for Jesus, one person at a time and 2) To come alongside the members of the short-term teams and help them take the next step in growing as disciples of Jesus.

In partnering with Real Life Ministries, the Campbells will help organize and lead short-term trips to Mexico throughout the year. It is “harvest time” in Mexico and there is a great need for workers. Ministry involvement by the mission teams includes: Building churches, participating in outreach for children, youth and adults through concerts, evangelistic campaigns, sports, Vacation Bible Schools, and special events, ministries of compassion (food, clothing, skills training) and helping train and equip disciples and leaders through workshops, seminars and partnering in a School of Ministry for pastors and lay leaders.

Tools for Tecate

Part of the ministry in which the Campbells participate is to help churches in the Tecate area expand their buildings. Both the people who live in Mexico and the people who come down for short term missions projects take part in this building ministry. One of the building projects this summer was to build a hub where disicpleship trainings can be run. They continue to build and have ask RLM to donate tools to further this ministry. If you have any of the following tools, new or used, and in very good working order, please bring them to the church lobby.

tape measures - 25 to 35 footers are most needed, a few 100 footers would be nice
utility knives - sturdy - need lots and replacement blades also
ladders - we need good new or sturdy 6 footers, 8 footers, 10 footers and two heavy-duty extension ladders
