Don and Renea Buchen
Background: Don and Renea Buchen believe that God has commissioned them to help children in The Philippines. They both have had challenging lives that have led them to this journey with Christ. Renea Buchen was born in The Philippines. She lived on the streets at the age of 12. She now has turned to help children who have had the background that she herself survived.

Renea Buchen was born in The Philippines. She lived on the streets at the age of 12. She now has turned to help children who have had the background that she herself survived.
Don was born and raised in America. He met Renea while on a mission trip in The Philippines. The trials of Don’s life journey enable him to work with and understand children who have had difficult lives. Don has eagerly moved his family to The Philippines to work with the local church and to open a children's home for street kids.
Don and Renea have designed a home that will allow them to care for the needs of 64 children. Architectural plans have been completed and a five-year plan developed. The home will be built in phases. They are currently gaining training and have begun building the homebase hub on 20 acres of fenced, prime land near Olongapo.
