The Veteran’s Group meets every Friday at 6:30 – 8:30pm in Room 208 and Sunday at 11:15 in Room 213
WHO IS THIS MINISTRY FOR?
All Veterans, active or non active, past and present, family members, friends of veterans, and all who have a heart for our service men and woman.
The reality of war is that everyone gets wounded. Some heal rapidly, but some last for a lifetime. Some wounds are invisible inside the heart, soul and spirit of the Warrior. These unseen wounds are often the most difficult to heal – they must heal from the inside out.
Whether for the Veteran who has lived in the lonely isolation of combat memories for decades, or young Warriors just returning from their first horrors of combat, the power of God, the power of God’s written word, and the community of God’s people around our church can become powerful resources in the Veterans healing process. And this healing can certainly extend to the Veteran’s family and many others impacted by the Veteran’s mental wounds of war.
Veteran’s Day Celebration Dinner > 6:00pm on November 10th in RLM2 Auditorium.
All Veteran’s and family members are invited to a delicious catered meal to show our appreciation for your service and sacrifices made for our country. The event is free.
