Jim is the cofounder and senior pastor of Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho. His passion is discipleship centered on following the teachings and methodologies of Jesus. Jim has been married to his wife Lori since 1988 and they planted Real Life together with a few other families in 1998. Together they have three grown sons who are all married to amazing women, and have seven grandchildren, all of whom live here in North Idaho.
Prior to his role as senior pastor, he served as a youth minister in two small churches. In college, Jim won three All American titles in wrestling and went on to become a successful wrestling coach. Real Life Ministries began as a small group in 1998 and has grown to a membership of more than eight thousand with a high percentage of its fellowship active in small groups. Jim is the author of several books including, "Hope for the Prodigal", "Church is a Team Sport", and most recently, "The Disciple's Journey".
